GETTING STARTED

Introductory Call or Meeting
We talk through your home, goals and timing, and make sure we’re the right fit.
Client Questionnaire
After our call, a closer look at how you live, so our design meeting is focused on you.
Agreement & Deposit
Once signed, your project is officially underway.
DESIGN TO MOVE-IN
Whether you’re furnishing or remodeling, the path is the same. Steps marked Remodel & new build apply only when construction is part of the project.
1. Measure & Document
We scan your home to capture true dimensions, so every plan starts accurate. If you have current as-built plans, we may skip this step.
2. Concept Design
Space planning, layout and the look and feel of each room. You review, we refine, and once you approve, we move ahead.
3. Design Development
Finishes, fixtures, furniture, lighting, rugs and window treatments come together as design boards with a high-level budget. For remodels, we coordinate drawings with engineering.
4. Permitting (Remodel & new build)
We prepare and submit drawings to the city and manage plan-check comments through approval.
5. Procurement
One consolidated proposal for your approval, then we order, track and expedite every item, with monthly status updates.
6. Construction (Remodel & new build)
We stay involved with your architect and contractor so the design is built as intended.
7. Installation
We deliver, place and style everything, so you walk into a finished home.
WHAT SHAPES YOUR TIMELINE
Design typically takes several months; full remodels often span a year or more from start to move-in. Timing depends on a few things: city permitting, construction, and manufacturer lead times, which range from weeks to many months for custom pieces. It also depends on decisions. Timely feedback at each review keeps things moving, and changes to scope once a phase is approved add time as work is revisited. Once we’ve learned about your home and goals, we’ll share a timeline tailored to your project.
